Why Support Sis?

We all have different journeys in life. For some, sharing comes naturally, but for me, it’s painfully hard—and yet, I’ve learned that when we share our experiences, we create connection and remind each other we’re not alone, which is exactly why I’m here to support you on your own path.

When I decided to step into my role as a life coach-Support Sis, I reflected on the messy path I’ve walked—a path full of twists, turns, and moments that knocked me flat on my ass. As a fat babe, I know what it feels like to be excluded, dismissed, or made to feel invisible. That kind of pain doesn’t just sting—it lingers. It seeps into how you see yourself and move through the world. For years, it kept me from living the way I wanted. But through Rooting in, unlearning, and deciding I was worth the challenge, I realized something that changed everything: no one gets to decide my worth but me.

For so long, I thought joy or self-worth was something you earned once you checked enough boxes or became “acceptable” in someone else’s eyes. But life doesn’t work like that. There’s no magical finish line where everything suddenly makes sense. The real growth happens in the messy middle: in lessons you didn’t know you needed, in small wins that feel huge because they’re yours, and in moments when you realize you’re more empowered than you thought.

As a fat babe for most of my life, I’ve carried expectations that weren’t mine—expectations that told me to shrink myself (in every sense) just to belong. That weight taught me how to second-guess myself, stay quiet when I wasn’t heard, and question whether my voice even mattered. But now? Now I know better. My voice matters. My story matters. And so does yours.

I became a life coach, Support Sis, because I know how much it matters to have someone in your corner—not to fix you or hand you a checklist of things to do, but to sit with you in the messy moments when everything feels like it’s falling apart. That’s why I call myself a Support Sis—the sister you never had but always wanted. My role is layered and personal. It’s about helping you untangle the knots that come with navigating life in a fat body, reflecting back your dreams when they feel out of reach, and reminding you that even in chaos, you’re still whole.

You don’t have to be fat for me to be your Support Sis. Maybe you’ve been othered in some way—told you’re too much or not enough, pushed aside because you didn’t fit someone else’s mold. That pain is universal but deeply personal in how it shows up. Whether it’s your body, identity, or just the way life has unfolded for you, I’m here to help you navigate it and remind you that being “different” isn’t something to fix—it’s something to own.

You don’t have to show up perfect in this world. Learning and unlearning isn’t pretty—it’s raw, courageous, and will knock the wind out of you sometimes. Life is messy and complicated, but it’s yours—every imperfect, beautiful part of it. You don’t need permission to claim it. Reach out, let’s do a vibe check, and begin our work together.
